This is a very sturdy Baldwin studio upright. Built in the early 90s, it is a member of the final generation of Baldwins made in America. Studio uprights provide a greater stability of sound, as well as the possibility for more dynamic contrast than smaller uprights allow for. Each piano is very different and has its own character.
