Returns 

This return policy only applies to new Yamaha technology equipped pianos directly purchased via our online shopping cart. It expressly does not apply to items purchased in store or via any other medium aside from direct Internet purchases. Any language of related terms on customer’s physical invoice directly supersedes and replaces this online standard return policy for Internet sales.

Our policy is in effect for 30 days after purchase. After 30 days from purchase, no returns, refunds or exchanges can be given. 

To be considered for a return, your instrument must be unused, in the same condition originally received and in the original packaging.  Proof of purchase receipt is required to complete your return.  Partial refunds may be granted in lieu of a full refunded (if applicable).  Refund may not be issued if any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.  Refund will not be issued if any item is returned more than 30 days after delivery. 

Shipping Damage 

-On rare occasion, an item may be damaged while in transit. Call our team immediately in the event there might be shipping damage.  

*** Note: Typically when a box shows some wear and tear, the product inside is in perfect shape. Please be sure to inspect all the contents. The shipping carton and packing materials are designed to protect the product through normal shipping and handling. 

Defective Product –

Products with manufacturer defects are rare but sometimes occur. Call us immediately to speak with an associate if you receive an item considered to be defective. Our team will consider if a return authorization is needed for you. The product will be returned to our facility and a replacement shipped to you based on availability. Upon inspection, if we find the product failed within 30 days of purchase, We will cover the cost of freight to have the replacement shipped to you.  Items over 100 pounds should be considered for local repair whenever possible.  Our team has access to a radius of local service centers capable of handling such repairs.

Products must be returned in the manufacturer’s original package as well as internal packaging. Accessories, software and manuals MUST be included. Incomplete returns may be refused or subject to a re-stocking fee. (minimum 20%) 

Pack your return securely and insure it. 

Returned product should be in “new” condition. A returned product that shows wear or abuse will either be refused or subject to a restocking fee. (minimum 20%) 

DO NOT WRITE ON THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER’S BOX! 

Returns should be received and at the indicated facility within 14 days of the request date. Allow 10-14 business days for refund to be administered back to the original payment method. 

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once the return is obtained and inspected, we will confirm via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

Late refunds (if applicable) 

Be sure to contact your direct financial agent (bank, credit card, etc.) to confirm it is not pending receipt.  If you determine there is nothing pending, you may reach out to us at outreach@solichmusic.com 

Items on sale (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may have refunds issued. Sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 

Items will only be replaced if they are defective or damaged. Exchanges such as this may be provided for the same item and emailed to outreach@solichmusic.com and item mailed to:

Gifts 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the fair value of your item returned. Once we receive this item, your gift receipt will be mailed to the address specified. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased (or the gift giver received the order themselves) , a refund will be sent to the gift giver as well as confirmation of your return.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser for returning these items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. When a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from this refund.  Timing between return shipping and receipt of this return will vary based on distance from the return site.  The time it may take for your product exchange may vary as well. 

We recommend shipping an item with tracking or shipping insurance for all items considered. Solich Piano cannot guarantee we will receive undocumented returned items.
