Employment Piano Sales Specialist

Position Overview

Solich Piano will be hiring Piano Sales Specialists to join our growing sales team. To succeed in this role, you will be engaged in a task-oriented sales process to help customers select and purchase a piano. You will participate in ongoing training to learn and retain deep knowledge about all our product categories. We expect our Sales Specialist to deliver a first-class experience to our customers before, during, and after the sale.

NOTE: It is NOT required that you are a pianist to apply for this position. Basic elementary piano skills will be sufficient. We will provide training to ensure candidates feel comfortable performing responsibilities related to our business scope.

Directly interact with clients to present piano options that fit their needs, lifestyle, and musical well-being
Task oriented from meeting the customer to coordinating post-delivery service care and customer follow-up
Coordinate systematically among customers, piano movers, piano technicians, and vendors
Work cooperatively with other staff members to provide first class service to our piano customers before, during, and after the sale

Responsibilities

Directly interact with clients to present piano options that fit their needs, lifestyle, and musical well-being
Oversee customer experience from initial meeting through coordinating post-delivery service care and customer follow-up
Correspond professionally via phone, text, and email with customers and vendors*
Coordinate systematically among customers, piano movers, piano technicians, and vendors
Write customer invoices, charge customer credit cards, and submit financing contracts
Work cooperatively with other staff members to provide consistently excellent service to our piano customers before, during, and after the sale

*We will ask for a writing sample and short essay during the interview process.

Required Skills

General selling experience and track record of interacting with the public
Base piano proficiency (can play 1-3 short songs on piano in time without stopping in any style
Ability to learn about pianos and piano products to inform customers about options for their consideration
Introductory experience with Microsoft Word/Excel, Google Docs/Sheets
Ability to provide organized daily and monthly reports to document sales and prospecting activities
