Solich Piano’s involvement with the Concordia University Piano Sale Event from October 5-7 was featured in MLive!
Here is a brief preview of the article:
Hundreds of pianos, which officials call a “musical menagerie,” are being hauled into an Ann Arbor university for a public sale from Oct. 5-7.
The piano sale at Concordia University Ann Arbor consists of nearly 200 pianos from Cleveland-based Solich Piano and Music Company, which began a partnership with the Lutheran university in 2020.
Since then, the company and university have hosted an annual sale to help hundreds of customers purchase instruments for their schools, church groups or homes, university officials said.

This year’s sale will feature 0% financing on certain models and on-call piano movers, officials said. Most deliveries are estimated to be completed within the same weekend, officials said.
The university gets a partner to help supply pianos for their music program, which has employed world-renowned Yamaha Artists as teachers.
“Thomas’ support of Concordia’s Music Department has been immeasurable,” John Boonenberg, chair of the university’s Kreft Arts music program, said. “Because of his partnership, we have ready access to instruments that are among the finest performance models out there. Our piano collection is on par with schools four times our size thanks to this program.”
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to purchase a quality piano and to help support the CUAA loan program at the same time!
