Columbus-based piano retailer celebrates 20 years in business with a prestigious, national industry award this year – Yamaha National Piano Dealer of the Year. Solich Piano & Music Company, founded in 2005, has since grown to be one of the largest piano dealers in the United States after significant expansions into the Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Detroit regional markets through various acquisitions and market investments.
Solich – not only a piano retailer and conservatory-educated concert pianist – also dedicates his support to a multitude of music educational and cultural institutions through loan programs and fundraising initiatives. Institutions such as Ohio University, Otterbein University, Cleveland State University, Concordia University Ann Arbor, The Pittsburgh Opera, and most recently The Detroit Opera have all been beneficiaries of Solich’s efforts. Solich continues to provide creative support such as annual piano loans and donations of usage, preferred purchasing programs, and music scholarships for many of these institutions.
