This is a beautifully kept piano, and a wonderful example of the premier Hamilton line of upright pianos made by Baldwin. The quality of the piano is in evidence in the touch, and the tone. Cheaply made pianos can take on a twangy sound as they age, however, this piano has a wonderfully warm and rich tone more like a new piano. The middle pedal is a bass sostenuto, which can be very useful to a player that knows how to use it. The cabinet is in excellent condition. The style is simplistic and modern and less ornate than many uprights of its time. A great piano!
