DEALER OF THE YEAR

New upright pianos offer very high sound quality without taking up a significant amount of space. This makes them perfect for learning on at home or in a studio.

Upright Piano Sizes

The spinet is the smallest with the largest number of moving parts. A new console piano is one of the most popular choices out of the three models and is easy to find. Finally, a studio upright piano offers a richer tone than the aforementioned models and is generally used in music composition.

Upright pianos are typically between 110cm – 135cm in height, around 155cm wide and 60cm deep. Primarily, the height is the major difference between each type of model. These pianos are much lighter than most grand pianos averaging a weight between 300-500lbs.

All new upright pianos offer great sound without taking up a significant amount of space and can be easier to transport due to their rectangular design.

Schimmel Quality

Wilhelm Schimmel built his first piano in 1885. Inspired by a pioneer spirit and single-minded perseverance, his maxims were always oriented to the expectations of his customers. They could hear and feel the love and care with which his instruments were built and how they were up to standards of tone quality and touch. Up until today nothing has changed in this respect. Craftsmanship continues. Solich Piano is pleased to offer these fine pianos and welcome your inquiries.
